We offer the option to add money to your MAJORITY account using an external debit card. The funds should arrive instantly. To add a debit card, ensure the card is in your name, and it is a Visa or Mastercard debit card.
To add a card, open the MAJORITY app, go to the Wallet section, select Add Money, then choose Debit Card. Enter the card details including your name, card number, and billing address, or use the app's scanning feature for faster data entry. Verify your card with a temporary charge of less than $1, which will be refunded after verification within 48 hours. Ensure the information entered matches your card issuer's records.
If you face errors while adding your card, verify that you're using a debit card (not a credit card), ensure the name and billing address match exactly as registered with your card issuer, avoid special symbols in the address input, and confirm you're using the latest version of the app. If issues persist, try adding the card again after 24 hours.
Once your external card is verified, adding money to your account is easy. Just enter the amount you want to add and tap Add. The money will be added to your account instantly. If you need immediate funding before your card is verified or encounter persistent issues, you can also use alternative methods such as direct deposits, cash deposits at participating locations, transfers via applications like PayPal®, Venmo®, or Cash App®, or bank transfers from your other accounts. These options can be found in the Wallet > Add Money section.
Note: To access this feature, you must update to the latest version of the app. Once updated, you'll be able to add a new card. If you've followed all guidelines and are still facing issues, contact MAJORITY Support via the app under Account > Need help?, email at support@majority.com, or phone at 855-553-3388 (available 9 am - 5 pm ET).
